Welcome to GMS Academy, the online learning management platform operated by Get Me Skilled, an educational and skill-development initiative of Mata Ramwati Devi Education Society.
GMS Academy is accessible at academy.getmeskilled.in and provides online learning, skill-development courses, training programs, assessments, assignments, certifications, memberships, and related educational services.
By accessing or using GMS Academy, creating an account, enrolling in a course, participating in a program, or using any services provided through the platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should discontinue using GMS Academy and its services.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- “GMS Academy”, “Platform”, “Website”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to GMS Academy and the services operated by Get Me Skilled, an educational and skill-development initiative of Mata Ramwati Devi Education Society.
- “User”, “you”, or “your” refers to any visitor, learner, trainee, student, instructor, registered member, or other person accessing or using GMS Academy.
- “Courses” refers to online, offline, hybrid, paid, free, short-term, long-term, self-paced, instructor-led, or other educational and training programs offered through or in connection with GMS Academy.
- “Services” includes courses, training, learning resources, assessments, assignments, examinations, certifications, memberships, counselling, learner support, LMS functionality, and other educational or skill-development services.
- “Course Materials” refers to videos, documents, presentations, images, text, audio, assessments, assignments, quizzes, graphics, software, and other educational content made available through GMS Academy.
- “Account” refers to the user account created to access restricted features and services of GMS Academy.
2. Eligibility
Users must meet the eligibility requirements applicable to the relevant course, program, or service.
Where a User is below the applicable age of consent or legal capacity, use of GMS Academy may require the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, as applicable.
By registering for an account, you confirm that:
- The information provided by you is accurate, complete, and current.
- You will update your information when necessary.
- You will use the Platform only for lawful and authorized purposes.
- You will comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse registration, restrict access, or terminate an account where information provided by a User is false, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate.
3. User Account and Responsibilities
Certain features of GMS Academy require registration and the creation of an Account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and login credentials.
- Providing accurate registration and profile information.
- Ensuring that your Account is used only by you.
- Immediately notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your Account.
- Maintaining the security of the device used to access the Platform.
Account credentials, course access, and memberships are personal and non-transferable unless expressly authorized by GMS Academy.
You must not:
- Share your login credentials with another person.
- Allow another person to access courses through your Account.
- Create an Account using another person’s identity.
- Impersonate another User, instructor, employee, or representative.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another Account.
- Circumvent security, access controls, or technical restrictions.
- Use the Platform for fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive purposes.
Violation of these requirements may result in suspension or termination of access without notice.
4. Course Enrollment and Access
Course access is granted after successful registration and, where applicable, successful payment or enrollment approval.
GMS Academy reserves the right to:
- Modify course content or structure.
- Update lessons and learning materials.
- Change instructors or trainers.
- Modify course schedules.
- Update assessments and assignments.
- Change course duration or delivery methods.
- Withdraw or discontinue a course where necessary.
Such changes may be made for academic, technical, operational, regulatory, or other legitimate reasons.
Course access is personal and generally non-transferable.
Unless otherwise stated for a particular course, purchasing or enrolling in a course does not provide ownership of the underlying Course Materials. It provides only the limited right to access and use the course for the permitted educational purpose and duration.
5. Learning Activities, Assignments and Assessments
Users may be required to complete lessons, quizzes, assignments, examinations, projects, attendance requirements, or other learning activities to successfully complete a course.
Users agree to:
- Complete their own assignments and assessments.
- Follow applicable examination and assessment rules.
- Avoid plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, or other forms of academic misconduct.
- Submit accurate and authentic work.
- Follow instructions provided by instructors and administrators.
GMS Academy may withhold course completion status or certificates where a User does not satisfy the applicable academic or program requirements.
6. Fees, Payments and Taxes
Course, membership, or service fees, where applicable, will be displayed on the Platform or communicated through the relevant enrollment process.
Payments must be made through authorized payment methods or payment gateways.
Applicable taxes, government charges, transaction charges, or other fees may apply in accordance with applicable Indian laws.
GMS Academy reserves the right to revise course, membership, or service pricing from time to time. Price changes will generally apply to future purchases and enrollments unless otherwise required by law.
7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
7.1 General Policy
GMS Academy provides digital educational content, training programs, learning services, and related educational facilities. Refunds are therefore subject to the specific conditions described below and any course-specific refund terms communicated at the time of enrollment.
7.2 Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will generally not be provided where:
- Access to digital course content has already been granted.
- The learner has started accessing or consuming course materials.
- The learner has partially completed a course.
- The learner chooses not to continue after enrollment.
- The learner fails to attend scheduled classes or sessions.
- The learner fails to complete assignments, assessments, or other course requirements.
- The learner experiences technical problems caused by their own device, internet connection, browser, software, or other personal infrastructure.
- Access has been suspended or terminated due to violation of these Terms and Conditions or other Platform policies.
7.3 Exceptional Refund Eligibility
A refund may be considered in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Duplicate payment caused by a technical or payment-processing error.
- Cancellation of a paid course or program by GMS Academy.
- Non-delivery of a paid service due to a confirmed Platform-side issue.
Refund requests should generally be submitted within 7 days of the relevant payment.
Approval of a refund remains subject to verification of the circumstances and the applicable course or service terms.
7.4 Refund Process
Refund requests should be submitted to:

Where a refund is approved:
- It will generally be processed within 7–14 working days.
- The refund will normally be made through the original payment method.
- Applicable payment gateway or transaction charges may be deducted where permitted.
- Processing times may also depend on the relevant bank or payment service provider.
7.5 Offline and Classroom Programs
For offline, classroom-based, or hybrid programs, refund and cancellation conditions may be governed by the specific program’s admission or enrollment guidelines.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, fees may become non-refundable after the commencement of the training program.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property made available through GMS Academy, including but not limited to:
- Course content
- Text
- Videos
- Audio
- Graphics
- Presentations
- Images
- Assessments
- Assignments
- Quizzes
- Logos
- Trademarks
- Course structures
- Training materials
- Website content
- Software and platform components
is owned by, licensed to, or otherwise lawfully used by GMS Academy, Get Me Skilled, Mata Ramwati Devi Education Society, or the respective content owners.
Unless expressly permitted in writing, Users must not:
- Copy or reproduce Course Materials.
- Download or distribute materials where downloading is not authorized.
- Record or redistribute classes or lectures.
- Sell, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Course Materials.
- Upload Course Materials to another website or platform.
- Share paid course materials with third parties.
- Modify or create derivative works from protected materials.
- Use logos, trademarks, or branding without authorization.
Subject to these Terms, Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access Course Materials solely for their authorized educational use.
9. User-Generated Content
Where GMS Academy allows Users to submit assignments, comments, reviews, questions, feedback, discussions, or other content, Users remain responsible for the content they submit.
Users must not submit content that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory.
- Infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Contains malicious software or harmful code.
- Impersonates another person or organization.
- Contains unauthorized personal or confidential information.
- Violates applicable laws or regulations.
GMS Academy reserves the right to remove or restrict User-generated content that violates these Terms or applicable policies.
10. Code of Conduct
Users are expected to maintain professional and respectful conduct when interacting with learners, instructors, trainers, administrators, staff, and other Platform users.
Users must not engage in:
- Harassment or bullying.
- Abusive or threatening behavior.
- Discriminatory conduct.
- Fraud or impersonation.
- Academic misconduct.
- Unauthorized recording or distribution of classes.
- Attempts to disrupt Platform operations.
- Unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Any unlawful activity.
Violations may result in suspension or termination of access and, where appropriate, further legal action.
11. Certificates and Course Completion
Certificates may be issued to Users who successfully satisfy the requirements of the relevant course or program.
Certificate eligibility may depend on factors including:
- Course completion.
- Required assessments.
- Assignment completion.
- Attendance, where applicable.
- Minimum qualifying scores.
- Other course-specific requirements.
GMS Academy reserves the right to withhold, cancel, or revoke a certificate where it is determined that:
- The requirements were not legitimately completed.
- Academic misconduct occurred.
- False information was provided.
- The certificate was obtained through fraud or unauthorized activity.
Where certificate verification is available, certificate information may be used to verify the authenticity of a certificate.
12. Employment, Placement and Learning Outcomes
Participation in a course or program does not guarantee employment, promotion, income, business success, admission, certification by an external organization, or any particular professional outcome.
Where GMS Academy or Get Me Skilled provides career guidance, placement assistance, counselling, entrepreneurship support, or job-related assistance, such services do not constitute a guarantee of employment.
Outcomes depend on various factors, including individual performance, qualifications, skills, experience, market conditions, employer requirements, and other circumstances beyond our control.
13. Platform Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep GMS Academy available and functional.
However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
The Platform may occasionally become unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance.
- Technical issues.
- Server or hosting problems.
- Internet or network failures.
- Security incidents.
- Software updates.
- Third-party service interruptions.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

16. Suspension and Termination

- All Course Materials will always be complete, current, or uninterrupted.

Users are responsible for evaluating whether a particular course or service is appropriate for their individual requirements.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GMS Academy, Get Me Skilled, Mata Ramwati Devi Education Society, and their respective personnel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Platform or its services.
This may include, where legally permitted:
- Loss of income.

Continued use of GMS Academy after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to the use of GMS Academy or these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi, India.
23. Severability

The remaining provisions shall continue to remain in full force and effect.
